Creating New Jobs

‘Guaranteed Hours of Work’

2015 marked 15 years of home care service provision in North Wales for Cymorth Llaw Ltd.

A house hold name for providing care at home to both adults and children, Cymorth Llaw continues to be one of North Wales’ largest employers & best recognised providers of service within the domiciliary care sector.

This week the care agency announced plans to create a substantial amount of new Care Worker jobs to add to an existing workforce of nearly 250 people, within the counties of Gwynedd, Anglesey and Conwy.

Operations Director Ian Hogg said “We had much publicity a couple of years ago regarding our job creation plans and organisational growth and again we find ourselves in a very similar position today.

“Our growth is really pleasing and as a result we are looking to create a large amount of new community care worker positions within the areas we work.

“We deliver a vast amount of care per week to people at home in the region and remain the agency of choice for many people in our local communities, so as you can imagine we remain exceptionally busy.”

Ian continued “So with growth comes new employment opportunities and we have many new Care Worker positions we are hoping to create across the region.

“Our rates of pay are extremely competitive and we are able to offer people permanent jobs, guaranteed hours of work within the local area they may live in and we have both full and part time positions available.

“We offer good pay, with enhanced rates for weekend work so people who work for us aren’t paid a flat rate for working Monday to Sunday for example.

“We also offer staff benefits, flexible and local working conditions that keep people within a reasonable working distance from where they live, we provide 24/7 staff support and offer a real, long term career pathway with our company.”

Ian discussed potential applicants,”As well as seeking experienced care workers, we are also be happy to speak to those people who may not have worked in this job before.

“We are able to offer a full training program, that the company pays for.

“In line with employment law, all our staff are paid their full hourly rate to attend any training topic they undertake with us to. We know that this isn’t always the case with other care providers in the industry.”

Ian discussed the company’s reputation as an employer and for the care it provides.

“The reputation we have as an employer and as a service provider is second to none.

“Cymorth Llaw is all about a total commitment to quality.  We employ excellent people, we manage our services professionally & efficiently and we pay great attention toward staff training & development.

“We are also a fully bilingual company and as far as we know, we are only care provider in the region to offer Welsh language training  as part of our core training program, to our non-Welsh speaking staff.

“We continue to receive outstanding inspection reports from our governing body and the Local Authorities for whom we work for –  in 15 years we have not had one single service improvement recommendation for the care we provide.”

Ian added, “The feedback we have from our existing staff and those who continue to join us is excellent and that says much about working for Cymorth Llaw.

“We ask that applicants be reliable, trustworthy and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We also ask that applicants are able to drive and have access to a vehicle too.

“We are very, very excited about the prospect of adding many new people to our organisation” finished Ian.
